Delphi
Born in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, and raised just east of Dallas, Texas, 25 year old singer/songwriter Cheryl "Delphi" Anderson currently is engaged in coaxing songs from the ether which center around the mysteries of power structures, ancient civilizations, and human spirituality.
Her music includes a full-length album The Remembering and the Shadowsongs EP, released in 2006 and 2007 respectively, can be found on her website, RedMuseums.com and on Myspace.com/justDelphi. Her CDs can be purchased (ahem...) through iTunes or at CD Baby. She is also working on a new project with singer/producer Deborah Driscoll called The Watchers, which has been compared to a "Female Doors meets Mars Volta in the backseat of a timetraveling Volkswagon bus."
She currently resides somewhere in Texas with lots of books, a dog, a bike, and a piano, and thoroughly enjoys the exercise of writing about herself in the third person.
